Evan Cole

lead vocals

Meet vocal sensation Evan Cole, a singer with astounding vocal power, emotive delicacy, a soulful heart-wrenching tone, and a high degree of musicality. Her unique style, a sultry blend of R&B, soul, blues, and jazz, stunningly showcases her amazing vocals and poignant songwriting ability.

From a young age, Evan Cole has been striving to show the world what a true performer she is. Singing at her local church and high school in Murrysville, PA, she knew that her voice was a gift from God, given to her for a purpose. Living in such a small town, it was challenging to find an outlet for such a powerful voice, but she soon found Duquesne University’s Mary Pappart’s School of Music in Pittsburgh, PA, where she demonstrated that she truly could be more than just a singer.

Soon after high school, Evan Cole made her musical home at Berklee College of Music, located in Boston, MA, taking on a demanding course load and as many performance opportunities as her strenuous schedule would allow, including ensembles and shows such as the Berklee Gospel Ensemble, Overjoyed, the ever-popular Singers’ Showcase, “The Pulse of Boston” GB Band, and of course, Two Hour Change, with whom she presently performs with today at venues around New England.

She has also sung for the Boston Pops, and has performed for and with artists, musicians, and producers such as Anita Baker, Chaka Kahn, Aretha Franklin, Melissa Etheridge, Gloria Estefan, The Edge, Dennis Chambers, Steve Gadd, Elliot Scheiner, Michael Brecker, Yellowjackets, Jimmy Haslip, and Phil Ramone to name a few. With a degree in Music Business/Management, the accolade of Berklee faculty, and so many star-studded performances under her belt, Evan Cole is still pushing the envelope. Evan Cole delivers; from her soaring ballads to her dance-inspiring up-tempo numbers, with all the flare and dynamic presence of consummate performer.
