ROCKIN’ OUT WELLESLEY COLLEGE
The band took a trip west of Boston this week to Wellesley College to play for a welcome-back party for their students. We had a great time jamming for them and meeting a lot of cool new people! The band has already been invited back to perform later this year and we’re really looking forward to it! (Thanks for the cupcakes.)

GEARING UP FOR NEW FALL SHOWS
We are getting geared up for two exciting shows this week: a big “welcome back students” campus event at Wellesley College (west of Boston) and a post-Red Sox game show at Who’s On First, a very cool venue behind Fenway Park.

DEBUT EP RELEASE DUE OUT AUGUST 2008
The band has been in the studio over the last few months laying down tracks at Melodia Sound Studio in Weymouth, MA for the upcoming debut EP release. Engineers George Stearns & Lee Strauss have been working with us and doing a fine job in bringing out the best in our group sound & dynamic.
We will begin working with producer Alan Evans (drummer/producer of Soulive fame) in April in order to finish up the EP. The band’s debut release will include five all-original tracks including: “Daydream,” “Hope of You,” “Two Candles,” “Mr. Default,” & “These Blues.”
The EP will be available on CD as well as digital download via iTunes & SnoCap. Stay tuned for more details! ■

“THE CHANGE” WELCOMES EVAN COLE AS NEW LEAD VOCALIST
In case you haven’t been to a Two Hour Change show in awhile, you may notice something different the next time you come see us, and she goes by Evan Cole!
As our former singer, Annie Lee, has decided to move back to her home state of New Jersey, the 2HC boys have invited Miss Evan Cole to join the band on a regular basis. We are very excited about the energy and talent that she will be bringing with her. Armed with a new batch of original tunes, we will be entering the studio with Evan starting next month to record our first official EP. Catch Evan in her first official show as a regular on Sunday, September 30th at Harper’s Ferry in Allston, MA! ■

Thanks so much to everyone who came out to support us at Felt on Thursday night! It was one of our biggest shows ever, the energy level was very high, & our guest musicians Evan Cole, Charlie Kessenich, & Blake Hillard did a great job! We are currently working with the management of Felt on more shows for October & November, so stay tuned!
Our next show is Thursday, September 13 at All Asia Bar in Cambridge, MA. Not only will this gig be amazing as it’s being sponsored by Amstel Light (who will be giving away free beer during our hour-long set), but it marks the much-anticipated return of our lead singer, Annie Lee! AND THE BEAT GOES ON
Last night, our special guest musicians helped us win the final round of the Anthem Entertainment Head-2-Head Concert Series at McGann’s Irish Pub downtown! We had a great turnout and good times all around. A very special thanks once again to Ben Atkind, Ryan Hommel, & Amy Trefry, our honorary 2HC fonkateers!
This Thursday will be another great opportunity to catch the band in case you missed us at McGann’s! 2HC returns to the swanky and always-hoppin’ Felt Lounge with a few other “honorary fonkateers,” including Blake Hillard on trumpet, Charlie Kessenich on drums, & the ever-soulful & captivating Evan Cole Baughman on vocals.
Evan has performed for and with many accomplished artists including Anita Baker, Chaka Khan, and Aretha Franklin, and currently performs with the popular band "The Pulse of Boston" all over New England.

As you all may know, our lead singing sensation Annie Lee suffered an injury last weekend that is preventing her from performing with Two Hour Change in our upcoming “finalround” performance at McGann’s Irish Pub THIS Friday, August 10th!
We are happy to announce that vocalist Amy Trefry will be stepping in to sing with the band for this big show! We are also “getting by with a little help from our friends” Ben Atkind & Ryan Hommel, who are sitting in for the vacationing Mike Blong & Jeff O’Brien, respectively. Wanted to drop a line to all of our listeners & friends regarding a situation in our Two Hour Change family.
Our singer and frontwoman, Miss Annie Lee, suffered a back injury after a dangerous fall on Sunday night. She is home now and recooperating in NJ, and we are all very fortunate that she is going to be okay. She's going to be down and out for a few tedious weeks during her healing process, and we want to extend our support and well-wishes to her during this time.
Get Well Soon, Annie! We need your sass & FONK back ASAP. ■
